SNB eTrade digital platform gives SNB corporate clients access to trade products, ensuring ease and convenience whilst providing state-of-the-art security measures; ensuring information safety and security. The products covered include:

  • Letters of Guarantees;

  • Letters of Credit;

  • Documentary Collections documents;

Features and services of eTrade include:

  • Letter of Guarantee issuance and amendments of all types;

  • Issuance of Shipping Guarantees;

  • Import Letter of Credit opening and amendment;

  • Review and accept discrepancies;

  • Early settlement request for acceptance and advance LCs;

  • Status of export LC documents;

  • Status of inward Collection documents;

  • Authentication, confirmation, cancelation, confiscation requests of Letter of Guarantees (Beneficiary);

  • File upload;

  • Reports. 

Registration in SNB eTrade

To apply for SNB eTrade, please follow these steps:

  • Fill in the registration form and have it signed by the authorized persons.

  • Attach a copy of Commercial Registration.

  • Attach a copy of user ID/ Users IDs.

  • Submit applications and attachment to relationship manager or the nearest branch or sent to

ETrade Self-Onboarding service is a customized service for establishments (Solo Proprietorship) who are self-registered to SNB eCorp wherein the client will not be requested to physically visit the branch or fill a form to register in this service.

How to apply: 

Clients who are eligible for this service have to login to SNB eCorp to onboard themselves to SNB eTrade using the following steps:

  • From Main Menu, select "Trade Services" 
  • From the sub menu, select "Registration" 
  • Confirm the transaction 

The system will request to approve the Self-Onboarding request using multi authentication methods; once approved, the client will be on boarded successfully. 

Now, you can request issuing or amending the letter of credit and letter of guarantees with no fees and charges through AlahlieTrade (for a limited period).

Terms and Conditions:

Scope of Temporary Waiver:  

  • Temporary Waiver would apply on all fees relating to requests of issuance and amendment of letter of credit and letter of guarantee, which are submitted through AlahlieTrade and AlahlieCorp only “Requests
  • All clients of the National Commercial Bank “NCB” can benefit from this Temporary Waiver.

Duration of Temporary Waiver:

  • Temporary Waiver would apply on all Requests received between 29 March 2020 and 30 September 2020.
  • In case the validity of any Letter of Credit or Letter of Guarantee issued or amended during the Temporary Waiver, exceeded 30 September 2020, fees would apply on such exceeding period on a daily bases according to the tariff announced by the National Commercial Bank.
Third party’s fees and charges would continue applied that including but not limited to (courier charges and swift charges) 
These Terms and Conditions are subject to be amended in the future according to NCB’s policies and/or SAMA’ regulations.

* Applicable VAT charges would continue applied on the collected fees.
